As a Seattle car accident attorney, I know that bad weather conditions can cause catastrophic car accidents. Each year, thousands of people are injured in these auto collisions.
Yesterday afternoon, an 11-car collision in the northbound lanes of I-5 injured 6 people. The pileup happened just north of Mount Vernon at milepost 218 and Starbird Road.
Officials believe they were driving too fast for the weather conditions.
Fortunately, there were only minor injuries suffered. Three people were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
According to the Washington State Patrol, at least three of the vehicles were completely destroyed. The total damage will cost several thousand dollars.
Luckily, there were no serious injuries. We hope all the victims of this collision have an easy recovery. Once again, I would like to remind driver to be careful on the road. And, please adjust speed according to weather conditions.
