Two Brothers involved in Head-on Collision| Seattle Personal Injury Lawyer

In my line of work as a King County car accident attorney, I know how upsetting it is to learn that a family member has been in a terrible accident. But what if you were the cause of that car accident?

On Tuesday, two brothers collided in a fatal head-on collision in Portland, Oregon. The incident happened along Highway 35, just south of Hood River.

Around 7:10 p.m., 25-year-old John Arthur Harvey was driving a tow truck in the southbound lanes of Highway 35 when he struck a Toyota Corolla driven by his 20-year-old brother, Westun Lee.

Unfortunately, Westun was critically injured and his 28-year-old wife, Rosario Harvey, was killed in the collision. John Harvey suffered only minor injuries and has been released from a local hospital.

No information has been released regarding the cause of the accident. However, officials believe they may have been playing a dangerous driving game where they were trying to pass each other. It is evident that John Harvey crossed the center line right before the accident.

We are very sorry to learn of this fatal collision. We offer our condolences to the friends and family of Rosario Harvey. We will keep them in our thoughts as they recover from this sad news.

It is always difficult to learn of lives lost in auto accidents. The last thing you want to worry about in these situations is legal issues. In an attempt to provide you with much deserved help and assistance, I have co-authored a book with attorney Patrick J. Kang which is a guide for families of Washington wrongful death victims. The book is called In Case of Death: Straight Talk on Washington Wrongful Death and is available at no charge to Washington residents by clicking on the preceding link.
