For the past nine years, I have been a Seattle auto accident attorney and Bellevue personal injury lawyer. After helping hundreds of victims of Washington car accidents, very little surprises me when it comes to traffic accidents.
On Wednesday, a vehicle came apart on the roadway, causing a rollover collision. The incident occurred around noon in Spokane Valley.
Deborah McKinney was driving her 1991 Ford Explorer westbound on Trent Avenue when the back of her vehicle came apart. The axel fell off and the car rolled over.
Neither McKinney nor passenger Timothy Stearns were wearing seatbelts at the time. They suffered serious injuries after being ejected from the vehicle.
Officials rushed them to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. McKinney is in satisfactory condition, while Stearns is listed in serious condition.
We will keep the victims in our thoughts. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to wear their seatbelts.
