Yesterday, our personal injury law firm mentioned a Bremerton on-the-job injury that sent a man to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. It is with sadness we report that the man did not survive his injuries.

39-year-old David Robecker of Shelton, Washington was injured while working on the Manette Bridge in Bremerton on Saturday March 5th. Robecker was on a barge when a winch malfunctioned and struck him in the head. He was taken back to shore unconscious, but breathing and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. Sadly, Robecker succumb to his injuries Monday night.

The incident is currently under investigation.

Our thoughts go to the Robecker family and the victims co-workers as they deal with this loss.
