Brookfield High School in Ohio celebrated their 2022 Prom Promise week event for their junior and senior classes. Premier Law Group was honored to be involved through the distance, sending Teens Against Distracted Driving pledges to support the school’s cause to keep their students and community safe on the roads. Prom Promise week was filled with activities organized by staff to encourage their students towards greater awareness of ways they can be involved in ensuring their community’s safety.
One way the staff was able to do this, was to dedicate time to teach the students about the dangers of distracted driving. The students were then given a call to action by participating in signing a pledge—committing themselves to safe and prudent driving. They were given bracelets after signing as a reminder of their pledge.
Premier Law Group is proud to celebrate alongside the high school, having received 70 signed pledges from students at Brookfield High School. We would like to congratulate the juniors and seniors on their academic accomplishments and applaud the efforts of the staff in raising awareness of the dangers of distracted driving.
While we live in a digital age, where the convenience of using our phones can easily tempt us to reach for them while behind the wheel, we cannot forget that distracted driving can result in serious and even deadly, consequences. The students at Brookfield High School inspire all of us to do our part to prevent the increase of distracted driving to protect our families and make our communities safer places to live.
