Man Injured in Motorcycle Collision | Bellevue Motorcycle Crash Lawyers

| Blog, Personal Injury

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month! As the weather gets nicer, more motorcyclists are appearing on the roads. In my career as a Washington motorcycle accident attorney and Bellevue wrongful death lawyer, I always see the most motorcycle accidents this time of year.

In New York, a motorcyclist was seriously injured when he collided with a car on Wednesday. The accident happened at about 10:50 a.m. on Washington Street.

Charles Marshall Jr. was driving a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle when he rear ended a car driven by an 82-year-old woman. The 39-year-old man was thrown off his motorcycle and suffered serious injuries.

Marshall was rushed to WCA Hospital. He complained of pain in his pelvis, lower back, and wrists.
Luckily, the other driver left the scene unharmed.

Thousands of people are killed in motorcycle accidents each year. I would like to remind all motorcyclists to wear helmets at all times. Helmets cut the risk of injury by at least 30 percent. Please, drive carefully and stay mindful of others on the road.
